چکیده

Nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamonds are a powerful tool for accurate magnetic field measurements. The key is precisely estimating the field-dependent splitting width of optically detected resonance (ODMR) spectra NV centers. In this study, we investigate optical power dependence ODMR using ensemble nanodiamonds (NDs) and single-crystal bulk diamond. We find that exponentially decays saturated as increases. Comparison between NDs sample shows while decay amplitude sample-dependent, at which saturates almost sample-independent. propose unexpected phenomenon an intrinsic property center due to non-axisymmetry deformation or impurities. Our finding indicates with less advantageous

Temperature dependence of the nitrogen-vacancy magnetic resonance in diamond.

The temperature dependence of the magnetic-resonance spectra of nitrogen-vacancy (NV-) ensembles in the range of 280-330 K was studied. Four samples prepared under different conditions were analyzed with NV- concentrations ranging from 10 ppb to 15 ppm. For all samples, the axial zero-field splitting (ZFS) parameter D was found to vary significantly with temperature, T, as dD/dT=-74.2(7) kHz/K....

Broadband, large-area microwave antenna for optically detected magnetic resonance of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond.

We report on a microwave planar ring antenna specifically designed for optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. It has the resonance frequency at around 2.87 GHz with the bandwidth of 400 MHz, ensuring that ODMR can be observed under external magnetic fields up to 100 G without the need of adjustment of the resonance frequency. It is also spatial...

Mechanical spin control of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond.

We demonstrate direct coupling between phonons and diamond nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center spins by driving spin transitions with mechanically generated harmonic strain at room temperature. The amplitude of the mechanically driven spin signal varies with the spatial periodicity of the stress standing wave within the diamond substrate, verifying that we drive NV center spins mechanically. These spi...
